Welcome to the Y-Hope talk show!
It is going a show of games, awards to commemorate the best of the best and a showcase of each district’s culture and their love for Y-Hope. After all that, we shall take a trip down memory lane for a history lesson on the rising of the youth ministry. You will be brought back to times in which you have experienced moments of tears and joy — multiple church camps, the ESS’s, the leadership retreats, the many metamorphosis-es and Y-Hope’s take on the missions field.
We are still not done…

• No sharp edges.
• DO NOT use staples. Use sticky tape.
• Must have at least 1 layer of corrugated cardboard to cushion the shaft and the blade.
• Able to withstand multiple beatings.
• The blade of the stick CANNOT be too curved.

HOW TO MAKE A STICK?
Equipments:
- Aluminium/wooden pole.
- Sticky tape.
- Corrugated cardboard.
- Newspaper
- A suitable blade skeleton. Eg. Clothes hanger, tongs etc.
Steps:
1.
Attach the blade to the pole.
Firstly, place the blade at an angle with the pole. (a one that looks like a floorball stick. (fig.1)
The angle of the stick depends on personal preference. Refer to (fig.2)- before and after.
Secure the intersection with rope and/or masking tape. This step is very important as it keeps the stick sturdy. Test the sturdiness of the stick by hitting it on the floor gently.
2.
Make a protective layer around your stick using cardboard.
Roll the corrugated cardboard around the shaft (fig.3) and secure it with masking tape to protect others from the impact of the stick. (fig.4)
3.
Clamp the blade skeleton with cardboard.
Sandwich the blade between two pieces of cardboard to create the flat surface of the blade. (fig. 5) You can put crushed newspapers or extra pieces of cardboard in between the 2 pieces of cardboard to make the body of the blade firm. (fig. 6) Finish by securing it with masking tape. (fig 7.)
4.
Be creative and customise it yourself!
Suggestions:
- Decorate the stick
- Use waterproof tape to make the blade smoother.
- Sculpt the blade to make it aerodynamic
